You Teach What You Most Need to Learn

Hello!

Is it true that you teach what you most need to learn? If so, I'm sure I need to learn more about personal peace and stress reduction! Everything about starting a new business is calculated to increase stress. In my case, it is a steady stream of technological challenges, an incredible flow of creativity (positive stress!) and wishing there were three of me to execute all my ideas right now. The latter highlights my impatience, and my husband frequently reminds me of this failing.

On the bright side, I'm getting first hand reminders of the stress that most of you go through every day. What I'm finding is that the more I am gentle and loving with myself, the faster I get through the stressed out, frustrating and upsetting moments. The other night, my husband and I narrowly avoided a major argument. What turned it around for me was when I declared, "I reserve the right to get upset!" Somehow, that shifted my perspective to one of a little humor and the weight lifted.

Whether you use humor or the process of being the neutral loving observer of yourself, if you can get a little distance (and preferably a little altitude, a higher outlook) from the stressful problem, you are in a better position to resolve it. As I discuss in my ebook, The Power of Personal Peace: Reducing Stress by Loving Yourself from the Inside Out, taking an objective but compassionate look at yourself and your situation goes a long way toward reducing stress and increasing success. From the vantage of the neutral loving observer, you can choose your responses more easily. You can even choose to reserve the right to be upset!

Have a loving, peaceful and successful weekend!

Simplify Life for Stress Reduction

Yesterday, I ventured into the world of recording an audio product for sale on my website. It's an hour long interview of me, sharing powerful tips on Simplifying Life for Stress Reduction! I had a great time because my funny friend and fellow coach Nelda Choate conducted the interview.

I talked most about the need to prioritize your life according to your values. One of the main reasons people are stressing out is that they are trying to "do it all." I've learned the hard way that we really can't "do it all" or "have it all." We can have a great deal and do a great deal, with excellence and loving, if we will line up our most cherished ideals and goals and take small steps consistently toward them.

What you need to do is get clear on what those priorities are for you. Write them down. Give yourself some time to reflect and be sure you're not aiming for a goal your dead parents chose for you. Be sure your top priorities are things you want for yourself 100%. These are your heartfelt desires to which you can fully commit!

If you will start paying consistent attention to these areas, you will find you reach your goals, and along the way, it will also be easier to say no to things that don't really fit with your purpose and direction. As a result, your stress level will go down! You will have the peace of mind of knowing that you are not scattering your precious time, energy and money. You are choosing with loving and taking the action steps to support your dreams. A balanced and fulfilling life is the natural side effect.

Email me at info@powerofpersonalpeace.com to request a first release of the audio (MP3)interview at a pre-publication price for only $4.95. Or got to my website at http://www.powerofpersonalpeace.com and sign up for my Seventeen Simple Stress Solutions. Then you'll be on my mailing list and I'll send you a notice as soon as the interview is ready to order. I am not too techie yet, so I can't guarantee the timing at this point, but this should be within two weeks.

Now go make a cup of tea, turn on some soothing music, and spend an hour or so reflecting on your life, where you want to go, what are your most important values, and how you can begin to take small steps consistently to support yourself in attaining and living those values. Watch yourself feel more relaxed yet dynamic as you move forward with purpose and self-loving.

All the best to you with Light and Loving,
Ilenya

New books on the way!

I have just spent a weekend authoring another ebook! I am tired but jazzed about my progress. This new one has the subtitle of 16 Secrets for Health, Wealth, Happiness and Love.
I'm still working on the title. But watch for it soon. Get on my list to receive notices of new books and events by going to http://www.powerofpersonalpeace.com. Sign up there for my Seventeen Simple Stress Solutions and you'll be on my newsletter list.

This is part of building my success. If any of you are interested in becoming an ebook author, I highly recommend my teacher, Ellen Violette, and you can reach her at the following link: http://www.marketerschoice.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=295952. Just get on her mailing list and you'll find out about her home study courses and when she is doing more classes.

All for now! I have to get up early for a dental appointment tomorrow!

Joy, peace and success to you,
